Telethon7

We are excited to announce that NeuroKids will be part of the Telethon Family Festival on Sunday, October 20, 2024! This family-friendly event, expected to draw thousands of attendees, will take place at RAC Arena and stretch down Wellington Street to Yagan Square. As one of Western Australia’s most anticipated events, the Telethon Family Festival is a wonderful day of fun and celebration, with plenty of free activities for everyone to enjoy.

As first-time recipients of a Telethon7 grant, we are honored to be invited to join the Telethon Family Festival Charity Trail. Our NeuroKids booth will be located at Charity Block 3 on Wellington St, just east of Milligan St, and we have a fantastic lineup of activities for the whole family. Stop by our booth from 10am to 12pm for a chance to get your face painted, and from 12pm to 2pm enjoy an entertaining performance by a circus performer.

In addition to the fun, we’ll also have NeuroKids nurses at the booth, available to answer questions and provide information about our services. They’ll be ready to explain how NeuroKids is making a difference in the lives of children with neurological conditions, offering specialised support and empowering families with the tools they need to manage their children’s health. Whether you're interested in learning more about the services we offer, seeking advice, or simply want to stop by for a chat, our team will be there to help.

The Telethon Family Festival, now in its fifth year, promises an action-packed day. The festival will feature free carnival rides and amusements, a community stage showcasing local talent, roving performers, and a chance to meet some of your favorite mascots and TV stars. Kids and families will also be able to explore interactive zones, including Yagan Square's fairy-tale-themed activities and the Lotterywest Chill Out Zone for some relaxing fun.

Festival-goers can also enjoy delicious food from a variety of food trucks, try their hand at carnival games, and explore more than 100 charity booths in the APM Charity Zone—where NeuroKids will be proudly represented. It’s a unique opportunity to learn about the amazing work of charities across Western Australia, all while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the festival.
