Ian Passmore OAM

Ian Passmore OAM was a co-founder of the Neurological Council of Western Australia. He has held senior roles at professional, executive and board level in scientific and medical research, education, health and community services, in particular within the university, hospital, government (all levels), not-for-profit, sporting and community development sectors.
Significant milestones Ian has been involved in have included primary roles in the establishment and development of several new organisations and promotion of innovative collaborative approaches within or across sectors.
Ian is a member of CPA Australia, Biotech Australia, Australian Society of Microbiology and the Graduate Management Association. He has co-authored several publications in medical research and molecular biology and holds an MBA and science, education and commerce qualifications.
Ian was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2001 and Centenary Medal in 2003 for services to the community of Western Australia.
